ArangoDB 2 comes with sharding and replication out of the box. The current version of ArangoDB 2 is 2.0. Below you find packages for all major operation systems. Read more about the new features.

ArangoDB 1.4 is the last stable, non-sharding version. Note that the databases are not interchangeable between 1.4 and 2.0. However, it is possible to upgrade the datafiles from 1.4 to 2.0.

We are using travisCI for automated testing. If you want to test the current development version of a branch, please use the nightly builds for travisCI.

For Mac OS X you can use use homebrew to install ArangoDB. Run the following:

brew install arangodb

Please note that there is no way to select a specific version using brew. However, in order to install an alpha or beta version (if available), you can use:

brew install --HEAD arangodb
